The Story of an Hour

The Story of an Hour had a pretty shocking ending, and an ending that I thought was pretty good. Up to that point, nothing particularly exciting had happened, in my opinion, so it was a nice ending. The story was written very well, with a couple of very strong lines. "She breathed a quick prayer, hoping that life might be long. It was only yesterday she had thought with a shudder that life might be long." That line  particular jumped out to me. Overall, this was a pretty unexciting story, until the end, which was fantastic.
